Whatever Happened to Standard?
Well I could tell you but that would be boring right? Why don’t you just listen to this guy…
In the mid ’90s, when the term “rider-owned” was still in the relatively young stages but readily gaining acceptance as the BMX norm, a Davenport, Iowa company known as Standard Byke Company was coming into its own as the preeminent force to be reckoned with in the BMX industry.
Some of the dates and facts are slightly off but overall a decent piece.
